I'm an old soldier and the Poppy Man for Barnards Green, Powick, and Callow End in Worcestershire Nr Malvern. I'm sleeping out to raise money for veterans that are facing hard times.

I rather like sleeping out but prefer doing it in the summer months. It's a bit cold at the moment so I'll be thinking about others, less fortunate than me, that are also sleeping out on a cold night but not through choice.

Please support my effort by donating a couple of quid. Last year's Poppy Appeal was hard work for us Poppy Men and Women with all that rain. I struggled a bit. Thank you to all those in the area that support the poppy appeal.

31/03/2026 I slept out last night at the bottom of my garden, a bit scary. A bit cold as well but I was warm enough. Crept into my proper bed at 7am this morning and Monica got up and made me a cup of tea.
