I’m running the Great Scottish Run 10k to raise funds for The Mark Williams Foundation in October 2026.

After the tragic passing of Mark Williams in 2023 his wife Nicola alongside Sarah and other volunteers setup the Mark Williams Foundation to support two causes Mark was passionate about.

The first cause is to support separated fathers gain access to their children. Specifically by providing legal support. It's common that some fathers earn an amount of money that disqualifies them from legal support despite still not being able to fund the potentially large legal bills required to successfully gain access to see their children.

The second is to inspire young people to become entrepreneurs of the future. The charity mentors and provides valuable experience for young aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with work placements with successful business owners and CEOs who have given up their time to support the charity.

On a more personal note Mark was a friend who put great faith in me professionally. He was a great leader who challenged and mentored me.
