Story
I’m running a half marathon to raise money for Cancer Research, a cause that means a huge amount to so many people.
After my mum was diagnosed with lymphoma, I always wanted to do something to recognise this, and now felt like the right time. Seeing what she went through gave me a real appreciation for the work behind cancer research, from treatments to support.
It was a tough and uncertain time but seeing her healthy now means everything, and is something I’ll never take for granted. Not everyone is as fortunate, which is why I’m raising money to support others facing similar challenges.
Running this half marathon is my way of challenging myself and contributing to the incredible work being done to fight cancer and support those affected by it.
