Story
In just a few weeks, I’ll be taking on the Burj 2 Burj Half Marathon in Dubai on 8th February, running from one iconic landmark to another, but this challenge is about far more than the miles.
I’m running in support of The Dusty Yak Foundation, a charity that exists to transform the lives of vulnerable children. The foundation works tirelessly to relieve poverty, advance education, and protect the health of orphaned, neglected, impoverished, and seriously ill children in Nepal and beyond, children who face unimaginable hardship through no fault of their own.
As a founding member, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, compassion, and countless hours that go into this work. I’ve witnessed the real and lasting impact that generosity can have; children gaining access to education, healthcare, safety, and hope for a better future.
Alongside Matt (Founder and Trustee), I’m taking on this challenge to help ensure that even more children get that chance. The Dusty Yak Foundation is a non-profit organisation, meaning every penny raised goes directly towards our ongoing projects and the children who need it most.
Any support you’re able to give (big or small) will make a genuine difference. Thank you for helping us change lives, one step at a time.
