Story
Thank you very much for visiting my fundraising page!
On the 28th/29th June, I will be taking part in World's Toughest Mudder 2025 – a 24-hour obstacle-course-come-mud-run endurance race. With 20 obstacles set across a five-mile loop, the challenge is simple – complete as many laps of the course as possible between 12:00 on Saturday 28th and 12:00 on Sunday 29th.
This is easily the biggest challenge that I will have ever faced, both physically and mentally. I'm raising money for Kaleidoscope Trust, with a fundraising target of £3,267. If I meet my target, then I will have raised £10,000 (+ Gift Aid!) for LGBTQ+ charities across four events.
The Kaleidoscope Trust works to advance the human rights of LGBTQ+ people around the world in countries where they lack equal rights, acting as a catalyst for meaningful change to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Here are some examples of what your money can do:
• £100 pays for meeting space for activists to engage with elected leaders to make the case for LGBTQ+ rights
• £50 helps provide access to legal advice for LGBTQ+ people who have been victims of violence
• £25 pays for outreach with family members of LGBTQ+ people to encourage acceptance and understanding
• £10 pays for transport for activists to meet with leaders in rural communities to educate them about LGBTQ+ rights
All donations, no matter how big or small, will be so greatly appreciated!
