London to Paris Cycle w/ Global Adv. Challenges · 25 September 2024 to 29 September 2024 ·

Between 25th - 29th September 2024, GSK employees take on this exciting cross-country cycle to raise funds for Save the Children. Cyclists will begin in Croydon, London and ride all the way to the Champ de Mars, Paris.

Story

This September, I'm embarking on a monumental challenge: cycling from the bustling streets of London all the way to the romantic City of Lights, Paris! But this isn't just about conquering the miles – it's about pushing myself to make a real difference for children in desperate need. That's why we're raising funds for Save the Children, an incredible organisation that's on the ground in some of the world's most difficult places.

Think of Ukraine, where the ongoing conflict has displaced millions of children. Save the Children is there, providing safe spaces for them to play and learn, reconnecting families, and distributing essential supplies like food, water, and medicine.

In war-torn Afghanistan, where millions face hunger and a lack of basic healthcare, Save the Children is a lifeline. They set up mobile clinics and ensure children have access to life-saving vaccinations.

The best part? Every single donation you make to support the ride will be matched by GSK's incredible match-funding program. That means your contribution will have TWICE the impact, reaching even more children who need it most. So by supporting this journey from London to Paris you're not just helping me rediscover the joy (and maybe a few aches!) of cycling; you're directly contributing to a brighter future for countless children facing unimaginable hardships. Let's turn the pedals of change together and make a difference that truly matters!
