Hi friends, I'm participating in a number of races and hikes over the next few months in memory of my dad. It would have been his birthday today and I wanted to do something for him.

• Welsh 3000's - 9 peaks over 2 days (1st Sep)

• Great Scottish Run Glasgow Half Marathon (1 Oct)

• Manchester Marathon (14 Apr)

• Edinburgh Marathon (26th May)

I'll be raising funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity, an organisation that provided unwavering support to both my parents during their battle with cancer. The compassionate care they offered is something I hold close to my heart.
