Story
The first day someone walks through the doors at Crisis, it can be the day everything changes. Crisis staff and volunteers are able to provide food, emotional support and crucial advice on healthcare, housing, and employment. It means people can feel safe and start to look ahead.
At Crisis, one of the most important things we do is listen to people. Every person who comes to us for help is unique. They have their own history, problems and experiences. This means the solution to their homelessness is unique too.
Some need to spend time improving their personal wellbeing – re-establishing their confidence and sense of self-worth – before being able to think about work and housing. Others might need advice on identifying the skills they have, and what they could develop, in order to get back into work.
Without you, none of this would be possible - thank you for your support and your donation.
