Story
In June, I’m taking on the incredible challenge of The Wall ultramarathon with my sister-in-law Emma. It’s a 70 mile test of endurance and spirit of running between Carlisle and Newcastle across Hadrian’s Wall. Yes, 70 miles in one go. I’m very aware that it’s a very long way.
Over the past several months I’ve spent most of my weekends running. Even when I’ve been away on holiday, I’ve been out running. My legs are still in one piece… somehow. And I’m doing this for ”fun”.

So to make this race even more meaningful, I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK. Several members of my work team have been affected by cancer this year, and their experiences have. CRUK is a leading charity that funds groundbreaking research, supports innovative treatments, and provides hope for countless lives impacted by this disease.
So please come and join me on my journey — whether it’s through donations, sharing this message or cheering me on from the sidelines. Your support won’t just help fuel my run, but the life-changing work of Cancer Research UK. Together, we can make every step count against cancer.
