Campaign by PSPA (RCN 1037087 (England & Wales), SC041199 (Scotland))
The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.

Story

On 12th April, Holly and I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon together to raise funds for PSPA – a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart.

PSPA supports people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare neurological condition my mum was diagnosed with three years ago. Like many people, I’d never heard of PSP before her diagnosis, which is exactly why raising awareness and funding for research into this condition is so important.

PSP affects people in different ways. In my mum’s case, it has taken away her speech, the use of her right arm, and her ability to walk unaided. Despite everything she faces, she continues to show incredible strength and resilience.

After the success of running the Swansea Half Marathon, we’re now taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon as another opportunity to raise awareness and funds for PSPA and the vital work they do.

PSPA is the only UK-based charity dedicated solely to supporting people affected by PSP and funding research into this devastating condition, making a real difference to individuals and families living with the condition.

Although my mum didn’t run this event herself, taking on this challenge feels like a meaningful way to honour her journey and support a cause that means so much to us.

If you’re able to donate anything at all, we’d be incredibly grateful – every contribution helps, and your support truly means more than you can imagine.
