Story

Tom

I’m walking 1,000 miles—2 million steps—before I take on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, all to raise £1,000 for Smile Train.

My son Louie was born with a cleft and received incredible care here in the UK. But many children around the world don’t have access to the same life-changing surgery.

Smile Train provides free cleft surgeries and support to children in need. Every £300 raised = one new smile.

Whether I’m walking the dogs, training in CrossFit, or hiking through Yorkshire, every step is part of this journey

It all leads to Peru this September—finishing at the Sun Gate overlooking Machu Picchu.

💙 £1,000 = 3 new smiles

👟 1,000 miles = 2 million steps

🏔️ Let’s turn every mile into a smile.

Thank you so much for your support.

Smile Train empowers medical professionals around the world with training, funding, and resources to provide free surgery and other forms of comprehensive cleft care to children in their communities. Our sustainable solution and scalable global health model drastically improve children’s lives, including their ability to eat, breathe, speak, and ultimately thrive.

Supporting Smile Train gives a child access to a full range of cleft services they would have otherwise never received and ultimately the opportunity for a better quality of life.
