At Zarach we are on a mission to end bed poverty in England giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the future cycle of poverty. So far, We have delivered over 10,000 beds to children, ensuring they get the restful sleep they need and lifting them out of bed poverty.

Story

I’m taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to help children living in bed poverty – and I’d love your support.

Along with some of my wonderful colleagues, I’ll be tackling Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – a 24-mile hike with 5200ft of ascent, all within 12 hours. For someone in his mid-40s who lives in one of the flattest parts of the UK, this is definitely a challenge!

We’re doing this in support of Zarach, a brilliant charity whose mission is to ensure that every child in England has a bed of their own, which gives them a greater chance to learn and succeed at school.

The charity has delivered over 10,000 beds to children living in bed poverty, which exists when a family doesn’t have the necessary sleeping arrangements due to a lack of financial resources. For children in this situation, it has a significant impact on their education.

After supporting Zarach at their head office, Progeny Asset Management will be completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 7th June to fundraise for this important cause.

We’d love your support to reach our target of £1,500, which would provide bed packages for 10 children, each including a bed frame, mattress, pillows, duvet, bed clothing and pyjamas.
