Adam battled for many years with an alcohol addiction. This centre was his saving grace and gave him a second chance at life. He fought hard to combat his addiction with their help and would have been 3 years sober on 5th June 2024.

After completing his rehabilitation at the Burton Addiction Centre (BAC) he went on to volunteer in Langan’s Tea Rooms, he loved it and the people there.

The Tea Rooms are ran by graduates from the BAC programme. They have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, reintegrate with society whilst helping to build self-esteem and confidence as well as other vital skills.

By making a donation to The O’Connor Gateway Trust in Adams memory you will be supporting the Burton Addiction Centre (BAC) and the Langan’s Tea Rooms both of which have been paramount to Adam within these last few years. Allowing them to continue to give others a second chance at life xx
