Sadly my dear cousin Karen lost her fight against AAA Breast cancer last November 2022 - 5 years of ongoing cancer treatments , plus multiple surgeries she shone and was always so strong -physically & mentally never wanting to give up !
Always looking on the bright side - finding a new sunshine every day with her positive vibes, no matter what she was dealing with from day to day.
Helen Rollason cancer charity supported Karen during that time , which meant so much to her .
Karen was 52 years young, leaving behind her husband Gary and 2 twin daughters Chole & Jasmin
The girls celebrated their 21st birthday this June with a trip to New York - sadly without their mum, absolutely heart breaking for the closest family. Karen's devoted mum & dad- Irene & Brian , Paul - Karen's brother and all our family who dearly loved her so much. ❤️
Karen was a beautiful person inside & out who dedicated her life to helping others - Karen worked for many years as a special needs Deputy Head teacher at the Endeavour School in Brentwood, she was so kind, gentle & Caring .
We have lost such a beautiful person, heaven has gained a wonderful Angel 😇
I would like to run the LM in memory of both Karen & Helen and support the charity to raise monies for other families and to say Thankyou for the support you gave my wonderful cousin.
I have entered for a london marathon place many times never successful- Now seems a poignant time to run for such a worthwhile charity - It will be very emotional I will be thinking of karen so much in training and during the event, I know that all the monies raised will help other families when they are in need of help.
Helen Rollason Cancer charity also has a special place in my heart as years ago, whilst Helen was a presenter she lived in Kelvedon hatch I used to be her mobile hairdresser. I was so saddened when she passed away.
