My mam, Lori, passed away 1st November 2024, after a battle with cancer. She spent her final days under the care of the amazing Eden Valley Hospice. The care they gave her in our short time there was second to none. They provided so much comfort to my mam and my family and there is no way to truly thank them.

My mam would not believe her eyes if she could see that I was doing the Great North Run, I’ve never been or runner or intended to be one, so this will be more than a challenge. Anything you can donate will be more than appreciated, little or large or even support through words.

Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw is a local charity which is close to the hearts of many people in and around Carlisle. They provide care for those with life limiting illnesses and the hospice can only run their services through the donations from events such as the Great North Run.
