The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a charity and voluntary organisation that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times, whether the issue is personal or business related. Our confidential national helpline is open every day of the year from 7am-11pm.

Story

At the heart of our farming community lies a profound need for support and understanding. Many farmers and their families face challenges that can feel overwhelming, from financial pressures to mental health struggles. It is essential that we come together to provide pastoral and practical support, ensuring that no one has to navigate these difficulties alone. The Farming Community Network serves as a vital lifeline for those in need, offering resources and assistance tailored specifically for our farming families. With your help, we can ensure that this support continues to thrive.

I am proud to be undertaking the "Vet Icknield Way Hike" as a personal challenge to raise awareness and funds for The FCN. The Icknield way runs 70 miles from one end of our catchment area to the other. I’m splitting the walk over 6 weeks between March 15th and April 19th 2025 and would love you to join us, especially if we're crossing your farm!

We'd love it if you would consider donating towards my target of £1,000. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of those who rely on this network during their most challenging times. Together, we can make a difference and show our farming community that we are not alone in our struggles.
