It has been three years since I last raised money for a charity, and now the time feels right to try again.

Around 2 years ago my sister-in-law was diagnosed with a grade 4 astrocytoma. Since then, she has fought valiantly through numerous operations and chemotherapy sessions. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts, there is nothing more that can be done for her.

The pain and heartache that my sister-in-law and the family are enduring is profound, yet the sheer strength she is demonstrating—both physically and mentally—is truly inspiring.

After discussing with the family I have decided to hike the 178 mile trek along the OFFA'S DYKE NATIONAL TRAIL on May 14th, 2026, to raise funds for "Barnoldswick and Earby Bosom Friends," the charity that has supported her and her family from day one.

My target is to raise money and awareness to help this incredible charity continue its vital work. Your support would mean the world to us during this challenging time. Together, we can show that love and compassion can shine even in the darkest moments.
