I'm taking part in The Rainforest Run as i want to save the rainforest and all the amazing species within it; before it's too late!

Chris Callacher and myself are run/walking round Crosby parkrun this coming Saturday 20th September. We'll have the new t-shirts on with some goodies to give away. No orangutan or banana this time, but we'll be on Crosby beach same time, same place. 9 am this Saturday. But you can give any time you like before or after the event.

The rainforest is vanishing before our eyes, and we must take immediate action to protect it!

Climate change and biodiversity loss are having a catastrophic effect on the world and rainforests are a vital component in the war against global temperature rises. If we come together to conserve the rainforest and its vital ecosystems, we save our future and that of species, like the Bornean orangutan.

The rainforests are the lungs of the planet. Without them, none of us stands a chance of survival.
