I'm raising money to help the lives of kids affected by cancer; a disease which has touched every one of us, in one form or another.

As well as donating to such a brilliant charity, you're also motivating the most ill-prepared cyclist you've ever seen, to take on 63 grueling miles of the beautiful Gower Peninsula, to include nothing short of 4000 feet of climbing. I blame my brother, Gareth, and two dear friends, Mattias and Ben, for coercing me into this. Gareth and Ben are both actual cyclists, Matti and I on the other hand, are not. Nonetheless, we'll be clad in Lycra (that must be worth your donation alone!?!) and off we'll cycle!

We'll fly to Bristol on Saturday, drive to Swansea and be ready at the start line on Sunday morning. Following what is likely to be a brutally embarrassing (and painful) cycle, we'll have Sunday evening refreshments in the seaside resort of Mumbles before returning home on Monday.
