#runforsarah2026
Marathon number three and this time it's personal!
I’m running the Manchester Marathon in memory of Sarah on 19th April 2026. She wasn’t in my life for a long time, but she made a huge impression in the time she was.
As one of her friends wrote... she had uncanny ability to make everyone in her world feel like they were her very best friend.
That’s exactly how she made me feel, and I know so many others would say the same. 💙
Running is one of the few things I can do reasonably well, even with bad knees, so having had the blessing of Sarah's family, this felt like the right way to honour and celebrate her.
The whole Pendleside team supported not only Sarah, but everyone around her so wonderfully, and the work they do for every single patient and family is extraordinary.
Your donation will help Pendleside continue to provide that same level of care to other families going through the hardest of times, and I really feel blessed and honoured to be doing this in Sarah’s memory.
Here's a little more about Pendleside...
