Im Tony "Iron Kidney" aged 29

After about 8 years on dialysis and being in and out of hospital.

I had my very first kidney transplant 12 August 2023.... It was a a long process but well worth the wait.

This year I will be taking part in my first transplant Games in Nottingham.

This is the biggest event of the year for me and what makes it extra special is that I've never done this before.

I will post updates of my training sessions and various photos for you to follow the journey I got through in the build up to this amazing event an experience.

The British Transplant games - gives Transplant patients/donors a chance to meet other people who have been through a similar thing, an keep active by taking part in different events.
