Story
Welcome to my TCS London Marathon #TeamHDA fundraising page.
In April 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon for the Huntington’s Disease Association.
This isn’t just another marathon.
I’m running because Huntington’s disease has affected my family in the most devastating way possible. I watched my father-in-law lose his battle with this cruel disease. Huntington’s doesn’t just take away a person’s health—it gradually robs them of their independence, their memories, their ability to move, speak and communicate. It also leaves an unimaginable impact on the people who love them.
No family should have to watch someone they love go through that.
Every step I take through the streets of London will be in his memory, and for every family currently facing the reality of Huntington’s disease. The Huntington’s Disease Association provides vital support to those living with the disease and their loved ones while also helping to drive awareness and hope for the future.
Training for a marathon is tough, but it is nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by people living with Huntington’s disease.
If you can spare anything at all, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, will help the Huntington’s Disease Association continue their vital work and bring hope to families who desperately need it.
Thank you for supporting me, and for helping turn 26.2 miles into something that really matters.
