Losing someone from Dementia can be devastating.

Our family lost Roy recently after suffering for some months and where the condition rapidly escalated. The strain on loved ones can be immense and any help from organisations such as Dementia UK can be a massive asset.

I intend to ride all three routes up Mont Ventoux in one day, arguably the toughest mountain climb in the Tour de France! At 1,909 m (6,263 ft), it is the highest mountain in the region and has been nicknamed the "Beast of Provence" and the "Giant of Provence"

I'm confident I can climb the mountain once in a day, we will see if three ascents are possible!
