Story
I am embarking on a personal challenge that is both meaningful and transformative: the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage, where I will walk 100km over 6 days starting on April 11, 2026. This journey is not just a test of endurance; it is a heartfelt mission to support the St Vincent De Paul Society (SVP England and Wales), an organization that has been a beacon of hope for many, including myself.
The SVP is a Christian voluntary organization dedicated to providing practical help to those affected by poverty and disadvantage. Having experienced their kindness firsthand during my childhood, I have been inspired to give back. For over 20 years, I have volunteered with SVP, witnessing the profound impact they have on individuals and families in need.
Today, I am asking for your support to help those who are currently facing challenges similar to what my family once did. I have taken it upon myself to cover all costs associated with this trip so that every penny you donate goes directly to the SVP. Michelle was due to join me, health reasons have prevented her from going, so I am raising money for both of us.
Our goal is to raise £5,000 to ensure that we can continue providing essential services and support for those who need it most. Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of many.
