Tony's fundraiser for Huntington's Disease Association

Tony Mee is raising money for Huntington's Disease Association

6 Points Mallorca Cycle Challenge · 15 May 2026

Huntington's Disease Association England and Wales exists to support anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease. It pursues the best possible care; provides training and advice to families and professionals; raises awareness, and promotes research towards better treatment and care.

Story

The 6 Points Mallorca Cycle Challenge is a partial circumnavigation of the island, covering 415km and with almost 6,000m of elevation over a 3 day period.

Since my wife, Sally, was diagnosed with HD I have raised over £20,000 through various challenges, as well as donating all royalties from a football coaching book, which I had published in 2021. Sally is now classed as late-stage HD and requires 24 hour care.

At 63 years of age this will be a formidable challenge and is likely to be my last significant fundraising challenge.

All funds raised will go to support the work of the HDA, not us as a family

The Huntington's Disease Association supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; raise awareness, and promote research towards better treatment and care.
