Story
On 20 March 2027, I will be taking part in The Twilight Walk London 2027, a 5km walk in support of The Brain Tumour Charity.
Last year, our family’s world turned upside down when my wife, Chloe, aged just 39, was diagnosed with a Grade 3 brain tumour. Since then, she has faced major brain surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, with treatment due to continue until April 2027. Surgery removed most of the tumour, but a small part remains, regular MRI scans now carry the weight of telling us whether it remains stable.
Throughout everything, she has shown remarkable courage, resilience, and positivity. Most importantly, she has continued to be a loving and devoted mother to our two young children, even while navigating uncertainty and ongoing treatment.
The Brain Tumour Charity works tirelessly to improve and save lives, fund vital research, and provide support to everyone affected by brain tumours. Their mission matters deeply to families like ours, because when a brain tumour is diagnosed, support and progress cannot wait.
I am asking for your support as I take on this walk to raise as much as I can for this vital cause. Your donation will help fund research, strengthen support services, and bring hope to families facing the challenges of brain tumours. Thank you for standing with us and helping make a difference.
