Hello,

In July, with my friend Alan, I will be participating in the Alzheimer’s Society Trek 26 Challenge.

We are hoping to raise money and awareness of this devastating disease.

Sadly many of you reading this will have first hand experience of how this disease shortens life’s and strips loved ones of their dignity.

So far my trekking experience is limited to a short walk to the pub and 18 holes at Turton Golf Club.

I am looking forward to the challenge and my subsequent visits to the Podiatrist.
