Story
In November I’ll be taking on a challenge that’s both exciting and a little daunting — a four day charity trek across the Moroccan Sahara in aid of The Joshua Tree, a wonderful charity supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
From 18 - 23 November, I’ll be trekking across the desert by day and sleeping under the stars by night. I'll navigate miles of sand dunes, enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets, experience local culture and push myself physically and mentally. With guidance and help from local Berber experts and the odd camel!
It’s a chance to push myself in a completely new environment while raising funds for a cause that makes an enormous difference to families during the most difficult of times and beyond. The charity offers open-ended support to children, parents, siblings, and wider family members, for as long as they need it.
If you’re able to sponsor me, no matter how small the amount, your support would mean so much. Every donation helps The Joshua Tree continue providing vital emotional and practical support to children with cancer and their families.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this — and for any support you can offer.
