2024 will be my 3rd year raising money for FFC - a wonderful charity that helps local people and their families affected by cancer. This year as well as once again lacing up my boots to represent one of the teams in the annual football tournament (more details to follow) I wanted to think of new ways to raise as much money as possible for one of the most worthwhile charities I know.

My business Torchlight Recruitment Solutions has become one of FFC’s official charity sponsors and will be taking part in various fundraising challenges throughout the year.

As Torchlight are part of the Marble Talent Group - the Directors Luke and Pete and the team are delighted to come on board and take part in the challenges with us. To make it interesting we have come up with a Torchlight vs Marble Talent (think Ant vs Dec) for every challenge we undertake and anyone that donates (£5 min) will get the chance to pick who they think will win the challenge - if you guess correctly then you will be entered in to a draw to win a prize!!

All event details will be posted on here alongside info of prizes etc - any £’s donated will make a real difference to this charity and the people it supports.

At the end of the year hopefully alongside plenty of £’s raised either Torchlight or Marble Talent will be crowned the champions and receive ultimate bragging rights…. Our 1st event is a 10k run on Sunday 7th January so details to follow very very soon..

We start this Sunday (7th Jan 24) with the relatively tame challenge of the Stubbington 10k race. 6 of us are taking part and we are split into 2 teams: -

🏆 Team Torchlight Recruitment Solutions - Karl, Pete & Luke

🏆 Team Marble Talent Group - James, Kieran & Max

Once complete, we will collate all of the finish times and add them together. The fastest combined time will be crowned the winner and the losing business will donate £100 towards the charity.

You can vote for which team you think is going to win by sponsoring £5 (min) - With the £5 donation, you'll be able to comment which team you think will be victorious. Once the winners are announced we will be put them into a draw and the chosen name will win a Round of Golf for 4 people at Skylark Golf & Country Club. If you're not local, or Golf isn't your thing we will exchange it for a voucher for somewhere.
