Story
Community Training aims to improve community resilience to health emergencies by increasing knowledge of CPR and how to use a public access defibrillator in case of an emergency
In the UK, only 1 in every 10 people experiencing an out of hospital cardiac arrest survive to discharge from hospital. Our aim is to give more people and communities the skills and confidence to perform those lifesaving interventions in the first critical minutes before an ambulance arrives
Community Training Volunteers are governed by the South Western Ambulance Service with funding support from the South Western Ambulance Charity
Your donation will support the ongoing development of the Community Training Volunteer initiative through the provision of equipment, supporting materials, uniform and training
