Story
Hello!
This year we will be participating in Tough Mudder on 6th July to raise money for the charity Friends of Sketchley Hill Menphys Nursery.
Xander, Kayleigh’s son and Connor’s nephew, is autistic, non verbal and has sensory processing disorder. He has attended Sketchley Hill Menphys for the last couple of years for support with this.
Being here has helped him to thrive, ensuring that his needs are met and he is encouraged to be the best version of himself.
The support and advice they have offered to us as a family has been fantastic and we will forever be grateful for his time there.
This fantastic specialist nursery support children with various special education needs. The staff are fantastic and they go above and beyond every day for the children in their care. We will be incredibly sad to see the end of his time here after the summer!
The money raised will be used for the benefit of children and families at the nursery to fund equipment from large projects to toys, trips and family events to enhance the learning experiences for the children who attend.
Tough Mudder is a race set over 10 miles with 20+ obstacles including 4 degree ice pits, a 40 foot high pyramid net, electric shock crawls and mud pits.
Anything you can donate would be hugely appreciated by us and all of those at Sketchley Hill Menphys Nursery.
Lots of love,
Kayleigh and Connor x
