Tour de Richmond Villages: Charity Bike Ride for Age UK · 21 August 2025

Age UK Gloucestershire works to make Gloucestershire a great county in which to grow older. We provide practical support, advice and information to help people live their best later life.

Story

On 21st August, team members from Richmond Villages Wood Norton, Cheltenham, and Painswick are coming together for a meaningful cause: a charity bike ride to raise funds for Age UK Gloucestershire and Age UK Wyvern.

The ride will cover just under 85 miles and spans the three Richmond Villages locations, symbolising the unity and shared commitment of the communities to support older people across the county. Age UK plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of older adults. Offering social groups, digital support, community drop-ins, and wellbeing activities that help combat loneliness and promote independence.

By taking on this cycling challenge, Richmond Villages aims to raise awareness and vital funds to help Age UK continue its incredible work. Every mile pedalled is a step toward a more connected, supported, and age-friendly Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

Whether you're cheering from the sidelines, donating, or joining the ride, your support makes a difference.
