About Us

We’re a group of family, friends, and supporters coming together to help Maddie—a brave, horse-loving girl who’s tackling Type 1 Diabetes every single day.

In May last year, Maddie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It all started with just one symptom—being really thirsty. We took her to the doctor, thinking it was something minor. We never imagined we’d be walking out with a life-changing diagnosis.

Since then, Maddie’s had to adapt fast—up to nine injections a day, constant blood sugar checks, and always being prepared for highs and lows. She still does what she loves, like horse riding, but diabetes is always in the background. It’s tough, but she faces it with so much courage.

That’s why we’re doing something positive—raising money for Diabetes UK and awareness for other parents so they know what signs to look for.
