Joy was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer at the beginning of 2024.

Immediately professional care and comfort alongside the District Nurse system was offered by St. David’s Hospice. Over the following months, the St. David’s nurses were always available to offer support in caring for and nursing Joy in her home environment where she chose to be.

The dedication to their calling and kindness was extraordinary and was greatly appreciated by Joy and her family during this stressful period.
