Story
I entered the TCS London Marathon Ballot, an astonishing 1.33 million people applied which made my odds pretty slim of being successful. I was amazed when I received the official email confirming I had been successful in winning a place. Now I need to complete this challenge. A ballot place allows you to choose if you want to fundraise without the pressure of having to commit to raise a set amount for any particular charity.
I have chosen to run for the Alzheimer’s Society , in memory of my Dad having lost him to this disease in 2022.
The Alzeihmers Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
I would appreciate it if anyone wanted to sponsor me no matter the amount every single penny counts.
It will be my honour and privilege to be running on the day in memory of those loved ones named on Memory Miles on the back of my running vest
