Story
Russ and I are taking part in the Dorset Mind Big Walk on Sunday 19 October. Walking 26 miles along our beautiful coastline to raise money for our Waiting Well project.
All funds raised by the Big Walk will be helping to support young people aged 10-18 who are struggling with their mental wellbeing across Dorset.
I am very proud to be the Project Manager for the Waiting Well project which funds Connected Minds, a small group programme that supports young people who are struggling to attend school on a regular basis, because of their anxiety and low confidence, and Community Active Monitoring which is a 1:1 guided self-help service which encourages young people to challenge their thoughts and feelings to become more mentally healthy.
These programmes can only continue supporting young people if we have the funding to do so. Every penny counts so please give whatever you can.
It would also be great if you could support us on the day by encouraging us to keep going!! My feet will be very sore by the end of the day!! 😉
