On the 22 & 23 October 2025, Global Markets UK staff in Global Equities and Tech Platforms are cycling in our Bike Relay Challenge to raise money for The Children's Book Project.

The Children’s Book Project’s mission is powerful – to make sure that every child experiences the power of book ownership. They do this by gifting pre-loved and surplus books to the children that need books the most, all across the UK.

With 1 in 8 children (in receipt of free school meals) not owning a book and 1 in 4 with fewer than 10 books, the charity knows that “reading for pleasure” is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success - more than family circumstances, parents’ educational background, or income.

We want to raise as much money as possible to help fight book poverty.
