Hi Everyone, so my childhood dream was to run the London Marathon. In October 2022 I ticked this off the list and ran raising awareness for Sense and for hidden disabilities such as my own. I never thought I could do this but I dreamed, believed (cried lots) and achieved !!

Little did I know, that I would end up getting a ballot place in the London Marathon a year later. I deferred this place due to a date clash and now i find myself under 50 days away from running it again....."but I'm a not a runner you know...I'm a hiker "...so to make what is already challenging a 2nd time, 18 months older and peri-menopausal with even worse eyesight 🤣 , I decided to really challenge myself and a few weeks after London, I will be walking 100km of the jurassic coast, night and day with James Foster. This is a continuous walk with no sleep. We are aptly named the walkie talkies and we are raising money for the Alzheimers charity. Deciding a charity is so tough I want to help them all, but this one is close to our hearts and one which offers tremendous supports for anyone whose life is touched by Dementia. There will also be lots of support for me and I will definitely need it for challenge 1 and then challenge 2 I'm hoping I can show everyone that our bodies are capable of so much more....we need to win the fight against dementia so us and our families can live a life of healthy body and mind.
