Henley RFC has chosen The Huntingtons Disease Association as its Charity of the Year for 2026/27 in support of long term supporter and club member, Dave Hancock, who was diagnosed with the disease 4 years ago.

Huntingtons Disease is a degenerative neurological condition that affects coordinated movement, cognitive ability and speech. It’s a genetic disease with a 50% chance of it being inherited, impacting the whole family.

The Huntington's Disease Association supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; raise awareness, and promote research towards better treatment and care.
