SKKA fundraiser for Teenage Cancer Trust

Tracey Smith is raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust
We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Jack is one of SKKA’s amazing, committed and loyal 2nd Dan students. He was very recently diagnosed with Leukaemia. This came as a total shock. Jack is now doing well after some intensive chemotherapy and we are so very proud of how he has handled this over the last few weeks. He is one incredibly strong young man! 💙

With this in mind, our Karate club will be raising funds to support the Teenage Cancer Trust in a few ways. We have learnt so much about this charity over the past few weeks after visiting Jack on the Young Person’s unit at the QE hospital in Birmingham.

The funds we raise from the head shaves/chest wax and belt stands will all be going to the Young Person’s unit at the QE.

The guys from Mattz Barbers in Walmley are very kindly coming to help us with the head shaves. They are offering their service FOC 💙 to support us.

We are grateful for any support! Thank you!
