Story
By taking on the Camino de Santiago as a personal walk, I am raising funds to support this life-changing work. With a target of £300, every donation with help Catholic Care continue to serve local people with care, kindness and opportunity. Please support this journey and help make a meaningful difference to those who need it most.
Catholic Care is at the heart of our communities supporting people of all ages through services that bring connection, dignity, and hope. Through Pathways for Tomorrow,, the team runs weekly community events including Stay and play sessions, Older People's lunch and exercise groups, food pantry and Community Market support, baby bank,, family support work, and Health & Nutrition Services.. These vital services help reduce isolation, build lasting friendships and create a stronger sense of belonging for everyone who needs it.
Over the Christmas season, this support becomes even more important. Families facing difficult circumstances are given practical help and encouragement at ta time of year that can feel especially challenging. The Charity also takes craft sessions into schools, helping children create special Christmas gifts they may otherwise not have the chance to make. Every initiative is rooted in compassion and a belief that no one should feel forgotten.
