26 years ago on the 3rd of June, I understand went life saving surgery for my heart condition which is called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)

Patent Ductus Arteriosus is where there is a flap of skin on the heart that is meant to close but mine didn't and the blood and oxygen were mixing together and turning my lungs black.

I found out that I had the heart condition when I was 10 years old, where my mum took me to her doctor and he said that if she hadn't taken me in sooner I would have drop dead at the age of 15 years old.

There will be laughter and some tears. I can't thank the surgeon who saved my life that day.
