I am running the Myton Hospice half-marathon on the 1st Feb, the day before the 3rd anniversary of Stu’s death. I find the months around the 2nd February really difficult. I hope that training for the half-marathon will help me along my way. Myton Hospice made Stu comfortable and heard in his last two weeks, and the boys and I were able to stay with him while at Myton and were also supported along the way.

Before Stu went into Myton, he was at home, and the care wasn't the best. Myton was a relief in some ways, but also hard, knowing that when he left our house to go to Myton, he wouldn't be coming home again.

Stu, you are the most courageous and unselfish person I know. Love T and the boys
