Story
On Tuesday 2nd July 2024 at Anglesey circuit in North Wales the annual Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospice charity track event is taking place. The event is a special day for the children, their siblings and the many kind supporters and sponsors who attend and make this possible.
Pre and post Covid, the Ultimate Track Day on Anglesey has raised over £300,000 for Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith – a truly incredible amount that has made a huge difference to the children and families who are cared for by the hospices. This is only possible because of people like you who support the event by attending on the day, bidding in the auction, or by making a donation at whatever level you are able to. Every penny donated goes directly to the hospice, all event costs are met by sponsors, so you really can make a difference.
Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to more than 750 children, and their families, who live in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. Their dedicated teams support families from diagnosis, throughout the lifetime of their child and beyond.
It currently costs over £7.5million pounds every year to keep the hospice doors open and their services running. Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith rely on fundraising income to cover 80% of this cost.
Please help us to boost our fundraising total even further by giving what you can, and ensure that we can continue to stand with Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith in their vision that no one should face the death of a child alone.
