We all know someone who is affected or has been affected by Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia, it is a cruel illness. My Grandad passed away from Vascular Dementia 10 years ago and my Nanna has the onset of Alzheimer’s.

This is going to be a challenge for me in itself after having a Half Knee Replacement back in December 2023, but I will cross that finish line with my team of friends who I am completing this with.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
