In May 2026, we, Tracy Honeyman & Sandra Beecham will be taking on the challenge to trek a remote section of the Great Wall of China, in aid of Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust.

We will spend 5 days trekking for up to 7 hours per day, navigating steep uphill and downhill sections of the wall while immersing ourselves in the wild and remote landscape.

We have decided to take on this challenge because we believe in the power of community and healthcare. Every step we take will not only be a personal journey but also a commitment to support those who rely on Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust for vital medical services.

The need for quality healthcare is more pressing than ever, and by joining Team Addenbrooke's Trek the Great Wall of China, We aim to raise £10,000 to help provide essential resources and support for patients and their families.

We invite you to join us on this journey, your support can make a significant difference. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to the care they need when they need it most.

We have been careful to consider our fundraising ethically in these challenging Financial Times, and as such, our fundraising is predominantly centred around special events, where you get something fabulous in return for your donation, such as a great night out. However, we also welcome straight donations where you feel that you can kindly contribute.
