Story
This May, I’m taking on a marathon challenge to raise vital funds for CPA (Cerebral Proliferative Angiopathy), a rare and incurable brain condition that affects my family personally.
Every mile I complete is for those living with CPA and for the hope of better understanding, treatment, and support. Awareness is incredibly low, so every donation, no matter how small, truly makes a difference. I have set an initial target of £500 however anything we raise over this will fund more research.
Sarahjane’s story
Sarahjane had a medical episode at home in 2013 shortly after her 9th birthday. After many hospital stays, scans and tests she was diagnosed with Cerebral Proliferative Angiopathy (CPA) a rare and currently incurable disease.
Sarahjane’s life hasn’t been the same since, CPA took away her independence, confidence and ability to do basic every day tasks affecting her memory, fine motor skills and physical endurance.
Thank you so much for supporting me, cheering me on, and helping us move one step closer to answers.
