In July 2025 I’ll be running the Lakeland 50. The Lakeland 50 is one of Europes greatest trail challenges. It’s nearly twice the length of a marathon (50 mile / 80km) with approximately 3100m of ascent on rough terrain.

I’m competing and raising money for EpicKidz, an incredible charity which makes donations to a wide range of community based causes and also support elite level youngsters via the Dave Hitchen fund.

In 2020 EpicKidz founded 2 new projects.

- Tri Kidz which delivers triathlon coaching and events to primary school children, free of charge.

- Mountain Kidz which delivers outdoor adventure days to primary school children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

In addition to these projects EpicKidz also donate thousands of pounds each year to food banks, community projects and community groups.

All children need is love, security and adults who believe in them. This charity is doing just that, believing in children and helping children believe in themselves through sports and adventure days.

I’m asking for your help to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause.
