Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need and are not alone.

Sadly only in October last year we got to see the full impact of their work.

Watching my wonderful friend and running sister’s Dad who was so fit and active become so poorly literally overnight and then get the terminal diagnosis was brutal.

With the support of Sue Ryder they were able to move forward, make plans and not feel scared or alone.

Their final few days were spent together as a family at Sue Ryder where they were all looked after and supported. No amount of money can ever repay the care and kindness they were given but we need to make sure that every family facing loss and grief can access the same care and support.

One last memory for my friend was reading whilst with her Dad that it costs over £16,000.00 per day to run Sue Ryder so every penny really does help.
