Last year I was diagnosed with cancer, 5th August is a year since my diagnosis and the start of my support, care and treatment. It’s been a challenging journey, in many ways and I am incredibly grateful for the care, friendship and love I have received along the way.

Due to logistics, I am not able to organise a get together for everyone, so I thought a quiz would be a fun way for all to join in and raise money for a fantastic cause.

Yorkshire Cancer Research funds vital research and works to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer across Yorkshire. Supporting their work feels especially meaningful as I reflect on the past year.

There are four sections to the quiz and a small prize for the winner of each or randomly selected, if more than one. The winners will be drawn on 8 September, this is the day of my operation, the day I became cancer free.

I suggest £5 per entry (further contributions will be gratefully accepted and will make a huge difference)
